Everyone can breathe easy: Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are still going strong as friends. Despite reports suggesting Swift was "taking a step back" from their friendship after being mentioned in Justin Baldoni's lawsuit against Lively, it seems the two are just fine. A source told Page Six that these reports are "false" and that the best friends are doing great.
Swift became involved in the ongoing It Ends With Us legal drama when Baldoni sued Lively for extortion and defamation. In his complaint, Baldoni mentioned a meeting at Lively's home, where "a famous, and famously close, friend of [Ryan] Reynolds and Lively" entered and began praising Lively's version of the script.
Though Baldoni's legal team avoided naming Swift in the complaint, one text message screenshot was left unredacted. In it, the actor-director wrote, "I really love what you did. It really does help a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan or Taylor)."
