The 25-year-old influencer and TV personality was voted off the hit ITV reality show during Friday night's (6 December) episode, alongside Coronation Street star Alan Halsall.

While scrolling through TikTok one night, I stumbled upon the world of vintage makeup. I discovered a video by creator Olivia White (@LivvyLoveASMR), who roleplays as a soft-spoken Avon lady, selling her products in a calming ASMR video. She taps her nails on quirky old cosmetic bottles shaped like dollhouse furniture, and I was captivated by the nostalgic packaging that stood in sharp contrast to the uniform, modern makeup products filling today's shelves. "When I first started making these videos, I had no idea people would like them so much," says White, 27. "I think there's a sense of nostalgia to it. A lot of comments say my videos remind them of their grandmothers, and it fills my heart." White inherited much of her collection from her grandmother and great-grandmother, both Avon sales representatives from the 1960s and '70s.

For Lisa Larsson, 61, a passion for history fuels her love of collecting vintage cosmetics. In 1975, at the age of 12, a family friend gifted her a 1930s minaudière – a small, intricately decorated case with several storage compartments. “It was a double-sided gilt brass case with a metal mesh strap handle, adorned with green faux-shagreen enamel,” she recalls. “One side had a bevelled mirror, a small plastic comb, and compartments for powder and rouge. The other side had clips for a matchbook and stamps, a section for cigarettes, and a small space for hairpins. I loved it.”
