First off, you've been in the US during the election. What's that experience been like for you?

Dan: [Sarcastically] It's been absolutely fantastic and so relaxed.

Phil: It's been a lot to take in. You could really feel the tension in the air. We were obviously hoping for the best outcome.

Dan: We were in Milwaukee the night both Trump and Kamala Harris held rallies there. I remember thinking, "Well, clearly, this is the most important event in Milwaukee tonight. Welcome to the Dan and Phil Show, everyone!"

Phil: Honestly, I think we had more people at our show than Trump did.

Dan: People stayed. In fact, more tried to come in.

BuzzFeed: Well, that makes sense. I'd imagine people need your content more than ever right now.

Dan: It’s been incredible. A lot of our audience is young and queer, and especially after the election results, so many people shared how much it meant to them to have something to look forward to. The Struggle to Reject Beauty Culture While Facing Its Expectations

Hi Ugly,

How do I reconcile my desire to resist the pressures of beauty culture with the reality that being attractive seems to improve my quality of life? I’m an undergrad, and it’s hard not to feel like I won’t get anywhere professionally or romantically unless I look a certain way, especially when it seems like every other girl on campus is effortlessly fulfilling her dreams while also looking flawless.

(Not) That Girl

Too late, Not That Girl. You’ve already fallen into the trap of beauty culture, and one word proves it: effortlessly. Very few people look like "That" without putting in significant effort. For most, achieving "That" requires a hefty investment of time, money, energy, and mental space.

Katie Holmes Shares the Hilarious Moment She Forgot Her Line on Broadway: ‘I Got So Red’

Even Katie Holmes gets nervous sometimes.

The Dawson’s Creek star opened up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday about a recent brain freeze she had while performing on Broadway in Our Town, which caused her to blush.

Holmes, 45, is currently playing Mrs. Webb in the Thornton Wilder classic alongside Jim Parsons, Ephraim Sykes, Zoey Deutch, and Richard Thomas. She recalled, “I was in the middle of a scene, and I said the whole line except for the last word—and I just couldn’t remember it.”

“I made something up, but it didn’t make sense, and then I turned so red... I got flustered, so I rushed through my lines and quickly got offstage.”

Holmes also shared with host Jimmy Fallon that she’s a bit superstitious and always reviews her lines three times before each performance. But the one time she didn’t — well, disaster struck.

Thankfully, Parsons, 51, was there to comfort her, she revealed.
